Shortly before “Depeche Mode” concert in Riga, the 3rd “Phasic Nights” event was dedicated to them. Atmosphere was created by Dj Gac. For the first time, STandART shared the stage with the Swedish band “Lip Service”, with whom also the next 2 days were spent together in a minivan.

In the next morning after the concert in Riga, STandART and “Lip Service” went to play at the 4th “Phasic Nights” event in Liepāja. It was widely admitted that the big “Fontaine Palace” stage suits “Lip Service” much better. Almost everyone got very energetic. Letting the Swedish friends have a rest, others enjoyed the party and different adventures till the break of dawn. The last band members went to sleep 30 minutes before getting on the 600-km-long road to the next concert in Tallinn, Estonia.

068 – May 9, 2009 – Body Machine Body Festival, Tapper, Tallinn, Estonia
The 3rd concert within 3 days. 1000 km behind our backs. Still together with the Swedish band “Lip Service”. 8 different bands took part in the festival – “Rosewater” (Latvia), “Militant Cheerleaders on the Move” and “Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio” (both from Sweden) to name a few. Most of our time was spent in discussions about tapirs, milk squirrels, elephants and why Latvians are listening to one and the same song all the time in the minivan. On Dave Gahan’s (Depeche Mode) birthday a visit to DM Bar was a must. We had a great time and left our signatures on the wall. Then we realized that we had got so used to Andreas & Louise that we didn’t want to say good-bye at all. Anyway, 10 months later all of the wonderful Latvian tapirs arrived in Stockholm.

When “Depeche Mode” concert was cancelled, DM fans from many countries were already on their way to Riga; therefore, DM Party under the guidance of Vj Montuss was held and STandART took part in it. The venue was so overcrowded that even the band members couldn’t get a beer in less than an hour. This was the first STandART concert, in which during 9 songs the band talked to the audience in 4 different languages – Latvian, Russian, English and Swedish.

The release party of the 2nd STandART studio album “Autumn News”. 5 songs were played for the first time – “Animals of Our Kind”, “Pioneers”, “Autumn News”, “Lapsu Nakts”, as well as “Hydrology”, which was especially memorable because of the video projections with the pink panther by Vj Montuss. The concert started right on the announced time; therefore, some of the guests missed the whole performance. When Harry had already gone home to sleep, the rest of the band members decided to perform an exclusive set no.2 for those guests who had missed the concert.
