“De/Vision” (DE) was organized by VJ Montuss. The plane with the band’s equipment arrived with great delay, and “De/Vision” went on stage at the main venue only around 1 am. Nevertheless, our afterparty was not cancelled and STandART (without Juris Tipa) played around 4 am. For the first time, STandART performed live 4 cover versions of “De/Vision” songs.

STandART went on stage with Juris Tipa again, who had re-joined the band shortly before. “Lowe” from Sweden performed afterwards. STandART setlist has not been preserved; however, it is more or less saef that there were 6 songs, as the concerts in “Depo” at those times were usually 30 minutes long.

STandART went on their first tour, after the release of the “Corrosion” maxi-single. As a result of misunderstanding, two events were planned for the same date, but STandART had no problems in with sharing the stage with the local band “The Briefing”. At least a few songs were played live for the first time, including the “Puslūsis / Half-lynx” intro (which turned into the song “The Field Where I Died” in 2009) and surprisingly also “Australia”, which was played for the first time already in 2006. During the event, both new STandART videos “Corrosion” and “Energia” were screened. Moreover, observing the dancers in the audience, the first ideas for the “Seven Times” video were drawn.

The first STandART concert outside Latvia was a part of the Lithuanian band The Skys’ birthday event. We want to Vilnius straight from Liepāja, and our new CDs were almost taken away from us at the border. During our way home, from 2 ongs heard on the radio – “More Than a Feeling” and “Eye of the Tiger” – we created a new one “More Than the eye of the Tiger”, which we translated into Latvian.

After we had returned to Riga, we left Harry at home to have a rest, and went to an interview on Radio NABA. Somebody called and gave an incorrect answer, and then asked Vladislav to take coffee with him to the work on the next day 🙂

We had the pleasure to meet the members of “Camouflage” in a rather surprising way. Before “Camouflage” concert, we were waiting for our soundcheck at the afterparty venue. Suddenly someone from behind asked if we were STandART. We turned around and saw Heiko Maile. “Camouflage” members also attended our afterparty, which we didn’t notice until we had played a special cover version of “Camouflage’s” “Mellotron”. After this song, Heiko appeared near the stage and said that it was nice to hear the song, which they haven’t played live themselves live for such a long time.
